Thunder Snow

Woo hoo! First snow storm of the year today...and it was a thunder snow storm. How cool is that?! The boys are outside playing in the snow with their Dad as I type this. I just wish I knew where the heck I stashed Tyler's size 2T snow pants. I found the coat (and it looks totally adorable on Max too) but the snow pants are no where to be found. The toddler sized snow boots are MIA too. *sigh*

It's a miracle we were able to find gloves and hats for everyone. That's a plus, I guess.

I also managed to take some photos of the boys right when Tyler got home from school today. I wanted to get a snap of them in their Halloween costumes and then, just for fun, a photo of them in their new PJs. This might become a backup Christmas card photo, if the other ones I have planned don't turn out well. Max is a Top Gun pilot and Tyler wanted to be a football player - well, really he wanted a helmet to go with his Jr. Patriots uniform (he is already a football player.)

Now to figure out what to make for dinner...

The boys are adorable as always... Snow.. Brrrr! It is 43° here and it's only 9pm. They say it will be 31° before morning..{looks around} Isn't this Florida?? Brrrr.. I have the heavy winter blankets on the horses, it isn't windy or wet, so I left them outside, but they look so cute in their little coats ;p

Snow already, Wow, better you than me. It's a little chilly here but not that cold. Love Tyler's costumes, being a N. E. Patroit fan myself.

The horrible realization we make as parents that we did NOT understand as kids is that....

SNOW = MUD

Snow, huh? Ugh, glad it's you and not us as we never had much of a summer. I'm enjoying any day no matter what the temp is as long as it's clear and dry outside.

Boy, you really did get the snow! We had some flurries but it was mostly just slush that melted as soon as it hit the ground.

But it's COLD here. The wind tears through you.
Brrr!

I LOVE that picture of the boys in their pajamas and think it would make a great Christmas card photo. :)

I need to try and get a good one of my kiddos too....I didn't even send out cards last year, so I need to get on the ball this time around.

The boy's costumes are adorable. :)
Parker is going to be a pirate and Autumn, a bumble bee. Should be interesting. LOL

XOXO

Aww! Needed to read further... it is snow! Our temps are to drop drastically this next week. Though, we had snow earlier this month, the earliest I ever remember snow here. We have been a good 20 degrees warmer than normal since that snow earlier this month. It's going to be a weird weather season, I think.
